A CSU Retreat is a pretty AWESOME and packed weekend. There are talks with clear explanations of why we do what we do. So, if you're a little new or just out of practice with your faith, don't worry. We'll clue you in to everything we're doing and give you lots of chances to ask questions. There's Mass, prayer, and small groups. You'll see some really funny skits. We also take time out for sports and games. There's quiet time for you to hang out by the water, or talk with friends, a campfire for making s'mores, and plenty of good food. Everybody likes something different about these retreats, but in all the years we've been doing them, we don't know of anyone who was sorry they came!
Preference is given to current undergraduate students of FSU, FAMU, or TCC (ages 18-24), especially those who have never been on a CSU Retreat before. Applications are accepted first-come (applied and paid), first-served basis. We have a very limited capacity for out-of-town guests.
It's simple, click here! Retreat always fills up quickly so turn in your application as soon as applications become available. You can pay directly in the registration form with credit/debit card, or check and cash are accepted by the Church in advance. The price of retreat will be announced at Spirit Nights and will increase the longer you wait!
You need to pack clothes to get through the weekend, shampoo & soap for showers, towels, bedding & a pillow. Also please bring a snack in order to contribute to the Friday night snack time! Also, feel free to bring a journal to write in, or a Bible!
Every retreat starts on a Friday evening and runs until Sunday afternoon. We meet at the church to eat pizza, get directions & rides. Everyone heads out for a fun-filled weekend of experiencing the Lord! We get back from retreat on Sunday around 6 pm.
