We have our own website now: http://fsucatholicalumni.org/. Feel free to learn more about us below, but the real action is on the AFA site. :)
The Alumni & Friends Association (AFA) can trace its origins to the end of the 2012 Alumni Retreat, when Br Jason proposed to the group that we take on the responsibility of planning and running the retreats ourselves. The response was extremely enthusiastic. We love CSU and we want the Brothers to be able to focus on it as their primary ministry.
The current concept for the AFA (which continues to evolve) is twofold:
As we mentioned above, the AFA is still very much in the beginning stages of its life. There is a leadership team, which is in charge of various subcommittees, which in turn will handle things like drafting up a mission statement, figuring out how we finance the AFA, technical aspects related to the website and Facebook page, and more.
Speaking of the Facebook page, that is currently up and running! We'll be posting announcements, polls, etc., so make sure to "like" it and check in frequently!
If you want to reach out to us for any reason, whether you're just curious on how things are going, or if you are super excited and want to get in on the action, we have a contact form.
Your brothers and sisters in Christ at the AFA
PS: Thanks to the Brothers and CSU for giving us a page on their website while we get things up and running.
