The Catholic Student Union provides the opportunity to share your faith through service! Our service is driven by seeing the dignity in each person and serving with a joyful heart. With weekly service opportunities led by our Service Team as well as service trips during Spring Break, there are many different ways to love and share our faith with others. We try to follow the example of Jesus, the greatest lover and servant of all.

Kearney Center

Homeless Shelter

Tuesdays 11:00-12:30 pm: We spend time with the residents at the homeless shelter! Carpooling at the Church leaves at 11:00 AM. Contact Emily O’Mara: at (904) 806-8039 with any questions! Address: 2650 Municipal Way

Saturdays 10:45 AM-12:30 PM: We serve lunch and help the homeless shelter in any way we can! Carpooling at the Church leaves at 10:45 AM. Contact Zack Warner: at (386) 795-0902 with any questions!

Casa Calderon

We spend time with individuals who are elderly, disabled, or low-income who live at the apartment building next to St. Thomas More!

Wednesdays @ 7:15 PM: We watch the Chosen Series with the residents and apply the episodes and the Lord’s love for us to our daily lives! Meet at Casa Calderon. Contact Liam Shields: at (508) 233-3075 with any questions! We are doing Season 2 this year!

Fridays 1:30-3:00 PM: We alternate leading a Bible study and activity with the residents. Activities can include board games, crafting days, cook-offs, and talent shows! Meet at the student lounge! Contact Brody Ochipa: at (386) 214-9894 with any questions!

Monthly: We are beginning music and prayer ministry! This might look like playing for one big group or going door to door similar to Christmas Caroling! Bring an instrument if you’d like!
