WOMEN’S GROUP LEADERS

These ladies spearhead the women's community during the year. They are so excited to lead us to grow in faith and in friendship through Women's Group every Thursday at 7:30 PM and other sisterhood events like movie nights and study nights.

MEN’S GROUP LEADERS

These Men's Group Leaders are the guys who will be leading the charge of the men's community for this year. They lead Men's Group every Thursday at 7:30 PM, they are small group leaders, and they plan events to grow in brotherhood together throughout the year.

OUTREACH TEAMS

These teams serve a range of different needs and student interests in CSU. If you’re interested in getting involved with one of these teams come to Spirit Nights on Tuesdays to learn more.

  • SERVICE TEAM

    CSU’s Service Team works to show the loving and merciful teachings of the church with all of God’s creation. We share God’s love through weekly and seasonal volunteer opportunities including serving lunches, visiting with lonely people in the community, and hosting donation drives.   • SOCIAL TEAM

    Do you like to party and make friends? The Social Team organizes and plans all CSU socials! These allow students to forge new friendships that grow deeper through social events while bringing them closer to Christ. Social Team heads up weekly ice cream socials, Sunday dinners, home football tailgates, Fall Festival and end of the year banquet! #partyplanningcommittee

  • LITURGY TEAM

    The Holy Mass is the source and summit of the Christian life and you have an opportunity to partake in it in a special way! You can deeply encounter the Lord through serving the community in the Mass (aka, Heaven on Earth). Our Liturgy Team always needs Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Altar Servers. Some students on the team are also sacristans for the 5:15 PM daily Mass and 6:00 PM Sunday Student Mass at St. Thomas More.

  • WORSHIP TEAM

    Do you have an itch to serve, worship, and use your musical talents to bring others closer to Christ? If you always find yourself always looking forward to worship at Mass, Spirit Nights, or retreats the Worship team would love to meet you! They coordinate musicians and oversee worship at Spirit Night, the 6:00 PM Student Mass and CSU retreats. They also meet regularly with a CSU staff supervisor.

  • SPORTS TEAM

    Love to be active? The Sports Team organizes CSU soccer nights, frisbee games, and more! During the Fall and Spring, our sports teams participates in IM (intramural) Sports through FSU Campus Rec. Glorify God with the body given to you by the real MVP Himself!

  • RESPECT LIFE TEAM

    Do you love life? We do! And babies! As the great Saint John Paul II once said, "The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being." This team plans trips for CSU students to go on the March For Life in D.C. each year, organizes our participation in 40 Days for Life, the annual Walk for Life held in Tallahassee, and Open Door Women's Clinic, a pro-life clinic for women.

  • MEDIA TEAM

    The Media Team runs CSU's social media. Media is a tool for share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to invite others to all of CSU's activities. They make sure we know what's going on in CSU through Instagram, Facebook, flyers, and they help produce and promote CSU Merch! They do photography, run slides, and use their creativity to bring others closer to Christ.

  • OUTREACH TEAM

    The outreach team is focused on being our on-campus presence whether that is tabling for market Wednesday or simply meeting people on campus. They also provide hospitality before and after the 6pm student mass.
